FAQs
Q: One of the rooms in my house is always colder than the rest of the house, why is this happening and how can I fix it?
A: Your HVAC system could be undersized, you may have insufficient insulation, or ductwork may have become disconnected. You may benefit from a supplemental heating system, such as a ductless heat pump.

Q: How often do I need to have my air ducts cleaned?
A: According to NADCA, the frequency of air duct cleaning is determined by multiple factors; smokers in the household, residents with allergies or asthma, pets that shed large amounts of hair/dander, or homes that have just been renovated.

Q: How do I know when it’s time to replace my central air conditioning or heating system?
A: If your system is 15-20 years old it may be a good time to consider replacement. Weak air flow, signs of leaks or corrosion on the piping, as well as odd smells and loud noises when the system turns on all could be an indication of excessive wear and tear.

Q: Does a heat pump only provide heating?
A: An air-source heat pump will heat your home in the winter and provide cooling in the summer! A heat pump is a 2 in 1 system that also provides dehumidification. Learn more about the different types of heat pumps here!
